Task 3
Acting Out
1. In your groups choose you will be assigned 1 of the 5 listed chance events
2. You will have 10 min to Plan a way to role play the event using words like; unlikely / likely / certain / impossible / probable
3. Each group will then perform the role play in front of the class
Role Play Scenarios - use our chance words to identify the chance of this event happening
1. The teacher will cancel school today
2. Flipping a heads on a coin toss
3. Watching a pig fly across the sky
4. Rolling a 5 on a dice
5. Winning the lottery with only 1 ticket
After each group has performed their role play we will order the likelihood of each event from least likely to most likely
Aim: To extend our knowledge of chance by learning about the context of dependent and independent events
